Group Acupuncture

  • 205 lexington avenue (map)

Class Description:

Acupuncture is a part of Traditional Chinese medicine, a holistic system that also focuses on lifestyle medicine.  Acupuncture is the insertion of fine, sterile needles that elicit our body’s feel good hormones, increase circulation and help our body move into the “rest + digest” state of healing which will help address many postpartum conditions, including anxiety and depression.

You can expect to rest for 20-30 minutes while retaining needles. Your practitioner will include needles that help specifically to balance brain chemistry and to address your specific concerns.

Instructor Bio: Holly Crafts

Holly Crafts is a licensed acupuncturist and received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. After graduating, she maintained a private practice while also working in a busy and thriving group practice, City Acupuncture of New York, in lower Manhattan. As a high volume clinic, there she was able to see and treat many and varied conditions, while refining her skills and treatment strategies. Holly put a pause on practice to focus on family while her kids were still little. She is thrilled to return to regular practice at Common Point.
