Mimi Niles, CNM, MPH is a midwife and doctoral candidate at New York University.   

Her research explores the value of the relationships fostered between public health midwives and the women they care for in vulnerable communities. As a midwife, she has cared and mentored thousands of women throughout New York City as they transition to motherhood. She is a trained meditation instructor through The Interdependence Project, a center dedicated to exploring the intersections between secular Buddhism and social justice.
