Jennifer Rhodes, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with a specialty in perinatal psychiatry, treating women with mood and anxiety disorders during and after pregnancy.
A Harvard University graduate, she completed medical school at Dartmouth Medical School and did her residency at New York University where she served as Chief Resident. After residency she was an attending psychiatrist in the psychiatric emergency room at Bellevue Hospital while building up her private practice. She has also supervised the Reproductive Psychiatry Fellows at the NYU fellowship program, as well as the Cornell residents training in reproductive psychiatry at the Weill Cornell Women’s Clinic. She has given grand rounds on perinatal depression, lectures about perinatal anxiety disorders to NYU and NY Presbyterian Cornell residents, and lectures about postpartum depression with Ready To Parent, a lecture series for expecting parents. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical College.
